Well, it happened again, time has gotten away from me, but, I have to talk a little bit about the installation I got to create for the lovely folks over @theskeletonkeyodditorium. Of course there were many changes made mid process; projects like this are often more improv than advance planning, at least for me. I really have to see how things are coming together and often switch things up mid-stream. Part of what I created proved too heavy to hang safely and in a genius move I decided to hang the heads and appendages BEFORE arranging the flowers into them . All in all I'm happy with how it came out, of course I wish I had more time/budget to do more(always) but I have to say that I love being in a line of work where I will never stop learning and innovating. If you haven't had the pleasure of checking out the skeleton key odditorium definitely get in there! They've got a great retail space up front and the museum is full of all kinds of cool creepy stuff with historic and locally crafted art. What a delight to discover this place! Bloomtour installations are in place all over downtown and the llyod district for the next couple of weeks it's a great excuse to get downtown in the lead up to rose festival!
