Still figuring it out....

As we find ourselves rushing headlong into the holiday season I can hardly believe we are coming to the end of another year! Sticking with the closed studio model I adopted for Covid has me second guessing myself as it means missing out on the retail sales that would come with the busy shopping season. I haven't been able to wrap my brain around planning workshops like I'd hoped though I've loved doing the one on one garden and studio sessions that I have done. By far my favorite new offering it would take many more of these on the calendar to get things sustainable financially. I wonder about maybe being open on the weekends through December or maybe doing mini workshops on the weekends? If you've been in the studio you know that space is pretty limited but I could probably do classes of three or four. Last year we did a holiday party making vase arrangements where I just brought all the necessary ingredients to the house where they were getting together and we had a great time! Get in touch if that's something you're interested in. We could do simple vase arrangements, living centerpieces or even wreaths. I've really enjoyed encouraging others to play with nature and taking some of the mystery out of the magick of floral alchemy. I do find myself a bit out of practice with people and using my words, here is probably a good place to work on that. I'm trying to be better about posting to socials and adding info here. I even seem to have trouble getting an email out but it happens every once in a awhile. Routine, structure and organization have always been challenging for me. That's why I do well with events and deliveries, they give me a hard deadline to work towards. The recovering perfectionist in me will fuss over things indefinitely until I no longer can. Maybe that's why this is my fourth unpublished blog post. One way to fix that.....
