Sunday, day of rest...

I took this day of rest thing to heart and spent the weekend resting as much as I could make myself. Less than one week until Mother's Day! This year I'm teaming up with Jaymie, aka @bloommonger to bring back the bucket shop. While we strongly encourage you to pre-order before Tuesday May 6th, she will be rocking wrapped bouquets for walk-ins on both Saturday and Sunday May 10&11 from 10-2. Wrapped bouquet pre-orders close on Tuesday May 6th and I will only be taking orders until my schedule is full so get your orders in ASAP if you want to BE SURE we will have flowers with your Mama's name on them. If you want to make an extra...

Ok, weekly?

Apparently daily was too big of a commitment. I was excited to learn how to create a post on my phone after the letters "e" and "r" both stopped working on my laptop. Then we got into wedding season and now there's so many things blooming and so many different things going into my arrangements I don't even...

January

One of the things I get asked most often is "what should I plant? ( in order to have great things to cut?) At least once a month I'm going to dig into what local flowers, foliage and textures I'm using, show you my favorites and what I'm doing with them. While I'm not a gardener so I can't advise on how to grow them. I can curate a list for you of the plants that I would most want to see in my cutting garden. Current favorites I'd recommend are: Tulip or Star Magnolia Dogwood- Any kind! Right now buds are showing up on the flowering varieties that will pop open if brought indoors Fantail Pussywillow Deciduous Huckleberry By...
